Sculpture
The sculpture is 40 cm in height. I have worked two motifs into the stone. The photos are pictures of one and the same sculpture. It is a soapstone. I worked the stone with a foot care instrument. Last week the right hand of the figure that was originally worked out, chipped off. Then i started to chisel the face into the mantle of the figure which was originally created. — Konrad Schäfer
Skulptur
Die Skulptur ist 40 cm in der Höhe. Ich habe in den Stein zwei Motive eingearbeitet. Es handelt sich bei den Fotos um Bilder von ein und derselben Skulptur. Es handelt sich um einen Speckstein. Den Stein habe ich mit einem Instrument aus der Fusspflege bearbeitet. Mir ist letzte Woche die rechte Hand der ursprünglich herausgearbeiteten Figur abgeplatzt. Erst dann begann ich das Gesicht in den Mantel der ursprünglich entstandenen Figur zu meißeln. — Konrad Schäfer
